For the edition no. 02/1999, the artist and sculptor, Fridolin Welte could be won over, who showed a solo-exhibition in the house gallery of the Künstlerhaus in August 1999.
In contrast to his previous "Hole Works", where the keyhole effect animates active and inquisitive seeing, the expansion of the space and form-opening theme is done with the help of characters.
When the visual perception jumps from "labeled" to "open", then the words become openings and the word opens the form, the space. "Open Sesame"
A connection between the form-meaning and the meaning of the words, through the transparency of looking in,- out,- and through is an introduction into the work.
